Spider bites are one of the unsolved health problems in many areas of the world. In many cases MSM is quite effective in treating spider bites, even including the most venemous. One of the most venemous is the Australian White Tailed -- pictured above. This site includes hundreds of pages including pictures of many types of spider and research and scientific studies on the effects and treatments.
Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) is used extensively for handing the pain and even the detoxification of these spider bites. An ongoing research project is being carried on in Australia to determine whether MSM is effective in the treatment of the most venemous spider in Australia -- pictured above. The largest known spider in Australia is the Huntsman -- pictured below.
Click here or on either of the two images to go to a more general page about spiders and spider bites -- and the ongoing research project involving MSM treatment. From that page you can link to hundreds of pages on this subject -- and your comments direct to the researchers are encouraged. Their eMail address is provided.
MSM, or Methyl Sulfonyl Methane, is well known to penetrate through the skin very rapidly, and to carry with it whatever is mixed with it. Thus, it is the perfect "carrier" to take some bite treatment material into an area of the body affected by the insect. MSM can be taken orally, or applied topically and is totally non-toxic in any dosage.
