Insect bites are one of the unsolved health problems in many areas of the world. In many cases MSM is quite effective in treating insect bites, even including the most poisonous.
Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) is used extensively for handing the pain and even the detoxification of these insect bites. An ongoing research project is being carried on to determine whether MSM is effective in the treatment of the most venomous spider bites in Australia. While insects are usually not as deadly as some spiders, there are so many more insect bites that it is a larger problem.

MSM, or Methyl Sulfonyl Methane, is well known to penetrate through the skin very rapidly, and to carry with it whatever is mixed with it. Thus, it is the perfect "carrier" to take some bite treatment material into an area of the body affected by the insect. MSM can be taken orally, or applied topically and is totally non-toxic in any dosage.
