Ayurceutical™ Core Philosophy

Ayur-Ceuticals – The philosophy, Science & Technology.

Any subject that has the objective "to help" as its driving force -- starts as a philosophy in the beginning, evolves as a Science later and finally transforms into a Technology for beneficial use -- just as has happened with physical Sciences giving rise to several branches Engineering.

Let me give you an example. There is a "Science" of Engineering that includes a technology of "building a bridge." When that technology is APPLIED, and the "bridge works," we can say we have a "workable technology."

When you claim to have a "technology" that "helps people" it becomes necessary to show that "it works." The World is full of false technology on the subject of help. Just look at the whole subject of so-called "health care!" There is every evidence that Allopathic medicine, oriented toward use of chemical drugs, does more harm than help, yet false claims of "results" cloud the issue so much that even now the majority of Western society believes that "the doctor is a helpful person" to deliver a technology of help for the body. The West is not the only area of the word to suffer from false technology of help.

There is more and more awareness that the choices people make (on diet, lifestyle, etc.) have a larger and larger impact on health, but we find advertising and government support for poor choices and poor health that must then be overcome by more aggressive and more expensive medical treatment. Health care in the United States is the fastest growing part of our Gross Domestic Product, now consuming more than 15% of every dollar's worth of goods and services being created. (Click for pop-up window with data and source)

Even more laughable would be those practitioners who claim to deliver a technology of help for the mind! Take a look at their research -- the cat with the electrod implanted so they can "study" the mind! Or "massage" that "heals" the soul! How can they help the mind when they cannot define it?

When there exists a "technnology" that purports to deliver help for the body AND help for the mind, then that technology needs to either separate the two fields of result, and prove them separately, or prove that the technology helps both the mind and the body.

The problem with anyone claiming to help the "mind" is that no single person, other than one, has come up with any useful description of "the mind." A "useful description" could never exist in some abstract form, but would have to be part of a technology that produces results that can be measured.

Further, there needs to be a useful and valid method of MEASURING the results. For measuring results of the technology of building bridges it is relatively simple. Can a person or car travel over the bridge and the bridge functions. Will the bridge, futhermore, last some reasonable number of years without failing?

Western medicine if full of claims of success based on measures that are not useful and valid.

When the cancer people, some years ago, claimed that they were achieving success with their cancer treatment technology, they based the claim on the number of people who lived for five years beyond the first diagnosis of cancer. When that number was 40% for some particular cancer, in 1980, and 50% in 1990, they would claim that "more people are living longer than before, and the new cancer treatment is the difference!"

What they did not include in that explanation is that practices of "WHEN you test someone for cancer" had changed. In 1980 people were not examined for cancer as early, as often, as thoroughly and as a result of the cancer predictors that were later discovered.

By 1990, more people were being tested for cancer, at earlier years, and when any cancer that was found was much "smaller" than the types of cancer found first in 1980! It stands to reason that the testing method caused the change in statistic.

The National Cancer Institute has finally admitted that their previous statistics were false:

National Cancer InstituteCancer registries throughout the country keep records of the number of new cancers diagnosed in their area. Ten population-based registries report this information to the NCI's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program. The standard time between a cancer diagnosis and its initial inclusion in cancer incidence statistics is about 2 years. However, longer delays in the reporting of the data can lead to an underestimation of cancer incidence whereas reporting errors may contribute to an overestimation of cancer incidence for the cancer sites examined. The net effects of these corrections on cancer incidence would increase in cancer incidence rates for more current diagnosis years.  (Source)

When you look into the claims for success of Western medicine you can find all sorts of measurement, but the basic facts are dismal. If you thought otherwise you probably would not be reading this page!

Came onto this scene Dr. MSR Ayyangar from Mumbai, India and Mr. Karl Loren from California in the US.

Dr. MSR Ayyangar is a practicing physician of Ayurvedic Medicine and a practicing physician of Homeopathy. He is also the owner of Emmessar Biotech & Nutrition Limited, manufacturers of health products sold in India. Karl Loren is the exclusive US distributor for a substance (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane = MSM) manufactured in India by Dr. MSR Ayyangar's facotry. MSM is used for relief of pain of arthritis and other uses. Dr. Ayyangar is also a student of the philosophy of the Veda. He reads the Veda in the original Sanskrit. He also is of that ancient heritage in India who carried the responsibility of being the "teachers." Dr. Ayyangar is the primary source, on this page and this web site, for insights into the subject of Ayurvedic practice.

Karl Loren is the owner of Vibrant Life in California. He has an MBA degree from Harvard and worked in the Kennedy White House. He has traveled in more than 35 countries and settled down into the vitamin business where he started the intensive research and publishing that has led to more than 100,000 of his web pages on more than 30 different web sites. His specialization in research has been on heart disease and cancer. His "oral chelation" formulations are the foremost in the world, as is his break-through published informaiton on the cause of heart disease -- and the remedy. Karl is married to Jean Ross whose victory over usually-fatal esophagus cancer was brought about through use of the very remedies which Karl had researched, published and sold, world-wide.

Both Dr. MSR Ayyangar and Karl Loren have been travelling a similar path of searching for and finding health remedies and both have been involved in marketing them. They found oneanother some eight years ago and not only became very close friends, but started working jointly on new health technology and new products made for Vibrant Life in the factories owned by Dr. Ayyangar. They both had also been searching for the philosophical answers to questions such as "What is LIFE?"

More recently Mr. Loren and Dr. Ayyangar have intensified there study of a "genre" of health care that could supplant the Allopathic model of the West and even the Ayurvedic heritage of Asia. In due course these mutual interests brought them together to this page, to present to the world the new "Philosophy of Ayurceuticals."

The first large agreement these two have had was on the vital necessity with starting this new philosophy with a statement and understanding of "LIFE."

Let us examine some fundamentals related to human life …

Ayurveda defines “Life with a Body” as – That which is born, moves of its own volition, consumes food, excretes waste, grows, proliferates & multiplies, fights to survive & thrive, reacts and responds to stimulus, decays and dies.

The most important factor for all the life forms with a body is --- Survival.  As L. Ron Hubbard said, the urge for survival alone appears to be the motivation behind all apparent activities of life forms on earth.  The first and the foremost requirement for survival of the body is, food.  Health of the body aids survival.  Food is part of attaining that health.

"Food" consists in its most elementary form as light and chemicals. There are lower levels of life forms that can use such raw materials. They, however, convert the light and chemicals into "food" that can be used by entities "higher on the food chain." The human body needs food of the type usually pictured on the left, including water, air, animal substance and plant substance. Temperature variation is another factor in survival -- man existing in a narrow range of acceptable lmits in temperature and pressure. But, food is the easiest thing to examine in terms of its impact on health and survival.

"Life" is more than just food. Per the findings of Mr. Hubbard all life is concerned with motion. This would be not only the obvious motion of limbs and the whole body, but the motion of organ, blood, cells and every function of every part of the body.

In fact, relating to the need for a valid means of measurement, any measurement of health should relate to changes in motion -- changes in motion toward a more ideal state. If some part of the body (the heart, for instance) is supposed to beat wthin a range of 40 beats per minute to 150 beats (or some other range) then a rate of 220 could be said to be improving when it moves to 180, and continuing to improve when it moves to 140.

The woman who can kick, in Kung Fu, higher than her head has a larger range of motion than the woman who cannot kick at all.

Like any valid scientific test, something like the "double blind, placebo-controlled" approach can be used. It is difficult, but not impossible to hold everything constant, except for some ONE substance being given, to see the effect of that ONE substance on, for instance the heart rate. It can be done, but even there many are the frauds in research that claim that a valid study shows such and such when another researcher, trying to replicate that same study, finds that "it doesn't work" and finds that the results vary depending on something not carefully observed.

It is a tricky, but necessary thing to measure the results of the application of any remedy or technology -- "Did it work?"

It may not be the final, or the best, measurement, but "health" seems to us to best measured by normalcy of motion within the body.

By contrast, sickness can be called the reduced function or motion (from normal) of one or more parts of the body.  (Some forms of sickness may involve motion whichy is "too fast" compared to normal.) Functional abilities have inseparable relationship with food.  But they are also very much related to behavior or choices people make, including exercise.

It is also true that someone with a genetic inheritance that is poor can eat good food and still be sick. A person with a poor genetic inheritance can eat poor food and be in good health. There is no automatic or easy diagnosis for improving health. Western medicine is almost 100% tests the doctor orders -- because there is so much error and lawsuit connected with him having a personal opinion of what you need for care. No, the doctor depends on tests that protect him from liability of making a decision -- your medical care, in the Western medical mode, is dependent on distant laboratores doing complicated tests that drive up the cost of care and lower personal responsibility. Ayurceutical philosophy does not somehow escape the need for diagnosis of the situation. The situation is just as complicated whether you look for Ayurceutical care or Allopathic care -- MORE of the responsibility is on the person being treated, particularly on his knowing what choices can impact on his health.

Ayurcuetical research can show that "substance X" helps a body heal itself of "problem Y" in "most cases," but Ayurceutical approaches do not expect to ever get bogged down in impersonal testing and "lab work." Since the substances used with Ayurceuticals are safe there is not the need of "being careful" with a diagnosis that might allow, with Allopathy, the "wrong drug" to be prescribed.

What is life in a more philosophical sense? It is the creation by a spiritual being, and consists of a body made of material substance, a mind and the spirit. Of these only the body has been widely studied and reported with much success. We have found, the both of us, that the writings and findings of Mr. L. Ron Hubbard on the nature of the mind and the spirit are the only valid source of useful data on these subjects. It is easy to make this statement: How can any other claimed source of useful data on the mind or spirit be of any use when they cannot define them?

We also find that complete understanding of the body cannot be possible without understanding the role of the mind and the spirit -- as they affect the body. Fortunately, in our new Philosophy of Ayurceuticals, we can safely leave those aspects out of our research and use the findings of Mr. Hubbard about life as very satisfactory.

So, Ayurceutical Philosophy concerns itself with the body, not with the mind or spirit. Certainly the predominant health form in the Western world is allopathy -- which, whenever you explore it to its roots, shows no spiritual source for the existance of man, and finds chemicals quite satisfactory for treating this thing, called a body, which probably had ITS origin in a sea of other chemicals -- they are still looking for that spark of life, but virtually none of that search even takes them close to any valid study. Mr. Hubbard found it, we adopt those findings to support our own exploration into the science that can bring health to the body. Click here for a different web where Karl Loren wrote a major article about Allopathy.

There is an important area of overlap however -- the area of "choices." Man makes these many choices every day, all through his life. These are choices that are NOT made by the body, but by the person himself. We, in Ayurceutical study do not try to explain the full details of how or why these choices may be made (those belonging in the province of the mind and spirit) but we can certainly see the objective evidence of those choices.

We SEE the person eating because of the choices he has made -- our reserach, completely within the field of the physical body, shows that this or that type of food leads to reduced function and poor health -- so we remark derogatorily about the choice made, even advise in favor of or against some choice, but we do not purport to understand how to change the mind so that better choices are made by the person.

We talk of "will-power" to make good choices?? The Ayurceutical practitioner can advise as to what a good choice is, even make strong suggestions, but the full understanding of WHY people make the choices they do and HOW to change the choices they make? Those are areas outside the province of Ayurceutical. Yet these ARE the areas where every family faces problems and differences of opinion on what choices this or that member of the family might make. We would be incomplete, in our Philosophy of Ayurceutical, if we did not offer some handbook of the TYPES of choices that people can make.

Karl Loren has published for several years web sites about choices and has invited people to write and ask him for a free copy of the book he offers -- the book of choices. He has given away more than 6,000 copies of this book, and it will be one of the central "practices" of Ayurcuetical. He has answered thousands of personal eMail messages from people asking for advice on health and other matters. When it seems appropriate Mr. Loren typically advises those who inquire that they need to examine the choices they have made, and the choices made by others around them -- these are the choices that often have great impact on the health of the body and which can only partially be compensated for with Ayurceutical products.

Ancient history supports the notion that some 10,000 years ago there was a great divide and that the origin point for modern man, on this planet, started in the Ural Mountains of what is now Russia. One group of modern man moved west, populated Europe and eventually travelled to America. This group found, early on, plentiful wild animal and plant food -- even though many of those animals were not friendly. They learned, early on, that "survival was a fight" and that use of force to gain food was often necessary.

The other group moved to the East -- and entered into, then travelled through the desert areas of Western China. This group found food was scarce. Even though there were not the wild animals that threatened survival, starvation often was close to the day. These people needed to learn, and did learn, how to endure hardships. While their Westerly moving brethren were moving west and fighting the hard fight, this group that moved to the East not only endured but had time to ponder and become philosophers.

It is no wonder that writing appeared first in Asia, and many thousands of years later in the West, probably brought there from Asia.

The great religions of the world started in Asia. To the point here, the most ancient of all writings is considered to be "the Veda," which are considered some 10,000 years old -- and which contain the philosophy of life and gods.

No matter what the food supply may have been for some thousands of years in Asia, there was certainly less food and more starvation in Asia than there was in the West. Those who were the most observant in Asia tried to achieve their spiritual goals, initially based on the Veda, then Buddah, and others, but always looking, never finding a workable technology.

India took on this heritage and is the only democracy on the planet that has not gone to war, and which solved their occupation by the British with passive resistance. They learned to endure and to philosophize. They also learned to survive in the face of scarce food supplies -- and whether you call them spices, herbs or food -- they found many of the answers not found in the West.

Those ancients who cared also saw that the human body needed help, particularly in an enviornment devoid of wide choices in nutrious food. While they could still observe with a keen sight, they saw that certain foods, even those which grew in small quantities, had qualities about them that improved the body -- created health. These were "foods" but they came to be called "spices" and "herbs" and the culture soon learned that the simple food that was available in large supply (rice mostly) was enough for survival if certain spices and herbs were added.

About 5,000 years after the original Veda was written, there was compiled the "Ayur Veda," the books about the health care system that had developed. It is now called the "Ayurvedic" system -- and goes for its source to the "Ayur Veda" -=- books written in Sanskrit, copied carefully from generation to generation, and even now still available, mostly in India, for Sanskrit-reading scholars to collect, read, treasure and "teach from."

Dr. MSR Ayyangar reads Sanskrit and is a student of the Ayur Veda as well as a practicing physician of Ayurvedic treatment.

The Ayur Veda contains a great deal more than a list of herbs found to be useful in bringing health in the face of various conditions. Those ancients learned, also, which part (the root, the stemp, bud, seed, flower or other part) of the plant was to be used for what purpose. They observed, also, what if any differences there might be in how the plant was harvested (the month, the time of day, the time before or after rain, heat, cold, etc.).

These who had endured so long, and been such philosphers did even more. They discovered, even though somewhat hit-and-miss that these herbs could be "delivered" in various ways, such as bathing in their solutions, inhaling their fumes, taking them onto or into the body -- and then found, amongst those who claimed "the sight" that some of these herbs, taken in certain ways (particularly with chanting or sex activity) could give rise to changes in the auras which they could observe, and cause such effects on the body that the participants felt, for sure, they were reaching some high level of spiritual attainment. People taking LSD and coccaine often feel the same way.

In all these thousands of years these herbs, practices and accompanying practices have not set man spiritually free -- but enough men achieved drug-induced or hypnosis-induced or sexual-induced or something else-induced levels of awareness that, they thought, were "just around the corner from salvation." How can they help the mind when they cannot define it?

In all of these practices there were students, and teachers, many of whom branched off to start their own special schools and continue to practice this or that brand of philosophy. You find them around today -- the "great masters" to whom the thousands flock and who travel to distant lands to spread THEIR word. How can they help the mind when they cannot define it?

In none of these practices related to the mind or spirit did they find a workable technology, but if you strip away these strange (to us) practices and get back to the bed rock core of "which herbs did what for the body?" you got very close to a workable body health technology -- at least better than the drug-oriented approach in the West.

So we come now to a skilled practitioner, Dr. Ayyangar, who knows the ancient herbs and lore, who has adopted the modern call for scientific evidence of proof that the body gets improved function with this or that herb, and brings that to its fruition in Ayurceutical Philosophy.

When the “objective” is “to deliver the greatest and most valuable service to the humanity at large” -- the subject assumes the aura of nobility & divinity.

One such subject is “Ayur-Ceuticals”.

A) The Philosophy:

“Ayur-Ceuticals”  is the newly created / developed concept in Health Care --- evolved by fusing the core fundamentals of the most ancient and the original health Science ever known to mankind – ”Ayurveda” (Literally meaning Science of Life) of India on one hand ---- with the most modern western technologies presently involved in the manufacture of Nutraceuticals, Cosmeceuticals etc on the other hand.

This evolution of “Ayur-Ceuticals” as a subject (which inherently has the potential to revolutionize the methods & practices in human Health Care field in future) -- is the result of decades of research individually and separately carried out by “MSR Ayyangar” in India & “Karl Loren” in USA --- and subsequently for over a period of 8 years jointly by them --- through their techno-commercial collaboration.

Ayurveda has thousands of years of study and underst of the body -- the technology for THIS help has been established and proven.

The most important factor for all the life forms with a body is --- Physical Survival.  As L. Ron Hubbard said, the urge for survival alone appears to be the motivation behind all apparent activities of all life forms on earth.  The first and the foremost requirement and the crucial for survival of the body is, food.  Health of the body aids this survival.

What is health..?  The simple answer is -- Optimal function.  By contrast, sickness can be called the reduced function.  Functions have inseparable relationship with food.

Let us examine the following points …

1. Food builds the "Cells" and sustains the body.  At any instant of time the "Body of a Human Being" is nothing but the food cumulatively consumed & converted to form cells by him over a period of 7-years. Research has proved that once in a 7-Year cycle, all the cells of the body are totally replaced, progressively. Even nerve and brain cells have been shown to reproduce.

2. The living body is nothing but a large group of Cells (transformed food) -- that attain a capability to survive and thrive.  Hence we can say -

Cell Survival = Self Survival.

3. If food makes the body --- good food makes it healthy --- wrong food certainly makes it sick --- then logically food alone can have the inherent capability to resolve the problem to restore its normalcy.

4. Food acts in three planes --- 1.Nutrition 2.Medicine 3.Toxin --- depending upon the “form” of consumption and the “quantum”.  For example, the same common salt (chemically known as Sodium Chloride) is a Taste Modifying Nutrition in food; Life Saving Elixir / Medicine in Dehydration; Life Threatening Toxin in Hypertension;

Ayurceuticals is all about using ..."Nutrition as Medicine".

Here comes the need to differentiate between a “Medicine” and a “Drug”.

Drug:  A substance which is capable of --- Altering, interfering, influencing, modifying, neutralizing, preventing, prevailing and finally overpowering the “physiology” of a living body and also the “mind” of the person that normally is the instrument of control of the body in all voluntary activities of the person.

For example, a man who is administered anesthesia will become unconscious. A man who has taken sleeping pills will be put to sleep. No matter how much any one of them wishes / tries to do otherwise.  In other words, a “drug” will act overpoweringly to alter the state of mind or body in accordance with its own characteristics …. So long as it is acting.

The inherent danger here is --- when a man goes for treatment to a doctor, he runs the risk of being drugged, as is being observed often around the world.  This in reality amounts to ill-treatment.

Normally a drug is rarely a medicine, because it mainly alters the condition from “A” to “B” -- but not restore normalcy.  The condition changes from A to B instantly, or very quickly making the patient feel convinced about being treated, due to the immediately perceived effect. But the sickness continues, as both A & B are different states of sickness in the sense of reduced functional ability.

However, occasionally a drug can and does act like a medicine, ie, when the altered state in the body or the mind amounts to restoration of normalcy – because of the action of the drug.

There is no denying the fact that drugs are essential in the modern day living, particularly when it come to dealing with injurious accidents, emergencies and surgeries.  Modern day surgeries can practically restore full normal life back to a person in a complicated case threatening to make a cripple or cause death.  Restoring a man’s eye sight by performing a Cataract operation is one such good example.

The real problem is not with the drug per se – but the man who misuses or abuses it….be it the physician or the patient.  Hence the drug can only be denigrated to the extent it provides the opportunity for a potential misuse or abuse.

Many of the herbs that are commonly used with Ayurvedic medicine may well also be used with Ayurceutical care -- many of these herbs have had extensive research done on them -- extensive and well founded with the usual Western study criteria. Click here for a pop-up window of abstracts of some studies of some of these herbs.

Medicine:  A substance which restores “Normalcy”, ie, optimal functional ability generally knows as good “Health”.

The virtue of a medicine is that -- it is inherently safe and does not provide the temptation / opportunity for misuse or abuse …. to the physician and the patient.

The fundamental differences between "Medicine & Drug" can be summarized as follows.

1.                Sickness is a "State" of reduced functional ability.

2.                A Drug alters the "State" by force -- often “Violently”.

3.                When drug alters the state, it may be from one state of

          sickness into another.

4.                The Medicine also alters the state, but it is from Sickness to

          Normalcy very “Gently”.

5.                When medicine alters the state -- it is never to another state

          of sickness.

The philosophy of “Ayurceuticals”is – Restore the sick person to normalcy, in the shortest possible time frame, using the gentlest possible means, ensuring the longest possible effect, without any possibility of adverse or unpleasant side-effects caused by or originating from the treatment -- in the near or distant future.

B) The Science:

As explained earlier, any food substance can be made to act as a Nutrition, Medicine, or Toxin based on the form and quantum of that substance administered in a given condition -- which again is very specific to each substance being administered.

For example, the all life sustaining “Water” is a general Nutrition.  It can also be a Medicine in specific conditions like dehydration. Water can be dangerous like a poison if taken in excess, while a man suffers from pleurisy, dropsy, kidney failure, Hypertension and impaired LV effusion etc.

Hence the conclusion that -- there exists a possibility of evolving a Science, or a Scientific Principle (conforming to the modern format of technical understanding, investigation, experimentation and evaluation) that allows “Non-Toxic” substances to be processed, modified, converted, or transformed into a “Matrix” of acting as a “Medicine”.  The important requirements are, the effect shall be -- consistent, verifiable and repeatable -- to be able to stand the modern scientific scrutiny.

This was the principal objective, inspiration & motivation behind the development of “Ayurceuticals”.

The best non toxic substance to choose is – obviously from the many available ingredients used regularly as spices in daily cooking of food and eaten by millions of people in India.  If that were not to be sufficient to treat some specific complex condition of sickness, the best alternative is to select from additional natural nutrients and time tested herbs, credited with impressive healing properties in the long history of practice of “Mineral & Herbal” Medicine in India called Ayurveda.

Ayur-Veda:Ayu” means Life & Longevity.  “Veda” means “True Knowledge” or Science.  In accordance with Sanskrit Grammer, when you combine these two words – Ayu & Veda -- it becomes Ayurveda.  Ayurveda literally means true knowledge of life & longevity.   It is very interesting to learn the definition of “Health” according to Ayurveda, which appears to have no parallel in any other system of medicine Mankind has ever known.

In Veda & Ayurveda originally scripted in Sanskrit -- higher truths are given in the form of Sloka (equivalent of stanza of poetry or a song).

I give below the particular Sloka (defining the Health) as given in the Sanskrit Original (written in English here) of Ayurveda, for the benefit of some readers who may be interested.  I will explain the meaning below that in the easily understandable English language.  Please note that in Sanskrit, a lot can be said in few words, and when it has to be explained fully, it becomes quite long.

======================================================

 The Sloka:

 Samadoshaa Samdhaatu,

Samaagnishya Samamalakriyaa,

Prasannatmaa Indriyamanaha,

Swasthyeti Abhideeyate.

 The purport & explanation:

 Health is the state in which the following conditions essentially exist:

1.    Harmonious Digestion;

2.    Harmonious Absorption & Utilization (of Digested Food);

3.    Harmonious Balance of Solids, Liquids & Gases (for Body to maintain the needed composite structure);

4.    Harmonious Interaction & Co-existence (of Body & Mind) with the External Environment;

5.    Harmonious Excretory / Detox Process (in the body to maintain the needed internal environment);

6.    Harmonious Functioning of Endocrine System (Chemical Communication System to Regulate Metabolism);

7.    Harmonious Functioning of Vital & Sensory Organs (Electrical Communication System for Sensing & Action);

======================================================

Ayur-Ceuticals combines the wisdom of the definition from Ayurveda with additional insights derived from the subject called Scientology, authored by L. Ron Hubbard.  Scientology provided an opportunity to dig deep into the whole Organization Called – “Man” – functioning as an entity.

The unchanging law of a living being in the physical universe is – “Function Monitors Structure”.

This means that once the function of any part of the body is established, its structure gets created to suit & perform the function. If water has to function like water, it has to be H2O.  If a wheel has to function like a wheel, it has to be circular.  If a ball has to function like a ball, it has to be a perfect globe in structure.  Thus when a type of Cell’s function is defined in the human body, its structure is automatically determined.  So are the sub-cellular structures like - DNA & RNA etc.

Conversely, when there is a mental or spiritual change in the person it is THAT change which then is first evidenced in a change of function and THEN a change of structure. Western medicine has had this all backwards. Since Western medicine denies the role of any spiritual influence they have to select chemicals as the causative agent in the body -- not spirit. They toil in vain looking for some combination of chemicals (the "sea of amonia") that can bring about life.

The East, with its heritage of intense religious philosophy has always known that life depended on spirit and that structure, also, depended on the spirit affecting function first.

So, the person who is "deaf," according to Western medicine, has had some virus, or bacteria, or chemical CAUSE a change in the structure of the ear -- CAUSING the function to be changed to deafness.

Under Ayurceutical thinking it is the spirit for some reason that decides that the function of deafness is wanted, makes that decision and that decision, alone, causes the structure to change so that a western doctor can now explain, in great profundity, how the bone is grown, or broken, or the cyst has grown, or the ear has a structural problem that causes the function of hearing to be impaired. Why would a spiritual being "want" a deafness? That is fully explained in the study of LIFE done by Mr. Hubbard -- it is not the subject of Ayurceutical, but since it is otherwise a mystery it is needful to remark that the explanation is available.

As long as western medicine holds to this false view they will never get out of the mud and chemicals they think caused LIFE, and will never rise above the drug-oriented failure of so-called modern medicine.

The Eastern philosophies never lost their belief in God, or gods, even when they were not yet able to develop a workable technology of spiritual change.

Both Eastern and Western "scientists" have observed a characteristic of cells that is fascinating -- these scientists have observed cells in the human body very carefully and can only conclude that there is a mass suicide going on.

From the very beginning of life to final death, when our most vital truth is that all life is striving for survival, we see individual cells that seem to have adequate food nonetheless make some turn toward death.

One of these scientists is the Western Dr. Hayflick who observed that there seems to be a very precise number of times any one particular type of cell will multiply. When that body of original cells has multipled its "programmed" number of time, there is no more multiplication and death approaches -- depending on the importance of that cell in the body.

Years ago I, Karl Loren, wrote this introduction to this subject:

Man seeks immortality, but finds death.  What is it about man that makes him seek immortality, to be dissatisfied with death; what makes our bodies seem incapable of supporting a reasonable desire, on the part of man, to live, not die?  The body could be a self-repairing machine if it got the proper raw materials (food, water, air, whatever else is needed) and avoided damaging trauma and toxins.  The body doesn't get all those needed raw materials, and certainly operates in a dangerous environment.  As we seek to improve the delivery and use of the proper raw materials, and to clear the dangerous environment, we will eventually run into the ultimate cause of death of the body -- probably something like the "Hayflick Limit."

The final lesson should be that man is not only a being made of meat -- with a certain death at the end of a well-known time limit.  Man must come to realize that he is a spiritual being, occupying, for now, a meat body which will die while man is, indeed, immortal as a spiritual being.

Any plan for improving health on this planet which does not recognize man's spiritual nature will always fail in man's quest for living -- because, ultimately, of the Hayflick Limit.  There is no "Hayflick Limit" to the spirit. (Source on one of Karl's web sites) Click here for a separate window presenting the data about the Hayflick Limit.

The "reason" why Life would have a Limit on Life has never been explained by Dr. Hayflick or any other scientist who observes this common phenomenon. They finally either say "God planned it that way." or "It is caused by 'chemicals'.""God" is the source for anything science can't explain conveniently. That ends the arguement of course, but one then wonders about why would God do this?

The truth has never been discovered until the studies of "LIFE" as described above explained the reason why a living cell with the same universal drive to survive, would, nonetheless, choose death! That full understanding is now understood from Mr. Hubbard's research and allows Ayurceuticals to comfortably accept these many evidences of "cell suicide," ignor the foolish explanations of "why" and go on to reverse this tendency among the cells.

Another term and this time a Harvard scientist discusses the word “Apoptosis” – a highly studied & researched subject through out the world in many universities.  Many people observe this obvious "truth" without understanding it at all -- because they lack an understanding of "LIFE."

No matter by which name (as a disease) you may choose to call it --  in the state of sickness, Cells are dying enmass.  The naming of the disease is based on the location of the body where the cells are dying and also the type of cells dying.

If the cells are committing mass suicide, it is undoubtedly one type of sickness.  But if they do not die at all and proliferate beyond a limit, it is another kind of sickness called Cancer. Both are undesirable conditions for good health and have to be handled to remove the disease.  This handling of Apoptosis is one of the key factors in the Science of Ayurceuticals. Whether you look at the scientist, Hayflick, or the Harvard researcher Dr. John W. Kimball, you find the same foolishness. Those who try to explain life without reference to the spirit wind up pushing drugs as the only solution.

We, at least within Ayurceutical philosophy, accept the finding that LIFE is created spiritually. How can these so-called scientists say, if they believe in any god at all, that some chemical or bullet can defeat what the spirit created?

Indeed we hold the mental and spiritual parts of existence to be senior to the physical and teach against the idea that a rock can kill God.

Drugs do not heal or cure.  Only body heals itself, or more appropriately & accurately -- the "Man Heals Himself." "Man" is a three part entity -- part body, part mental and part spiritual. The healing of the body comes about because of the FOOD taken in, the mental choices by the person as to behavior that affect survial, and the ultimate control, or decision to not control, by the spirit.

If the spirit can bring life to a body, the spirit can decide to NOT do that, or to withdraw that which causes life to flow in a body. This action of the spirit is well beyond any study of Ayurceutical, but Ayurceutical philosophy would be incomplete without full acknowledgment of the spirit.

There is another part of the ancient heritage of Ayurveda -- the great importance of "energy patterns" that can be observed by any person so-trained. Ayurvedic medicine places great store on being able to change these energy patterns in a body with Ayurvedic remedies and practices. Those following these Ayurvedic concepts have simply tried to substitute herbs for religions that failed to do the same.

As both western health care and religions around the planet demonstrate their failures to achieve good results, and as this "philosophy" of Ayurceutal turns into a "techology" Ayurceutical diagnosis and care, the world will turn TOWARD Ayurceutical products and away from the failures.

It is clear that energy patterns DO exist in and around the human body, but Ayurceutical philosophy holds that THESE PATTERNS are part of the spiritual display in a material form. Ayurceutical philosophy specifically eschews any claim that its products will affect energy patterns around or in the body. We leave that to your religious practice.

Here, for example, is a typical quote of the TYPE that millions of people accept as the gospel truth:

Jin Shin Acutouch is used as an aid in restoring the body's energy systems to a balanced, efficient, functioning state and has been associated with tranquility, benevolence, and longevity for centuries. (Source and much more in a pop-up window)

The fascinating point here, for Ayurceutical Philosophy, is that there ARE millions of people to whom "energy patterns" are very real, very visible and very important. There is also plenty of evidence that these energy patterns can be changed by all sorts of fiddling with massage, food or chemicals. The terrible truth for those who "believe" in this type of technology is that no spiritual freedom can be achieved this way, or with any combination of nutrients -- no matter how anciently described as "spiritual aids."

There is something called Kirlian Photography. I, personally, Karl Loren, have had these photos of me taken several times. It is clear to me that these photos capture "something" and that something can called an "aura" and that is the end of it. It is a great curiosity, I have never thought that I could change my mind, or myself, with "things" that might change "my aura." The image on the right is what you can get for yourself, often, at various conventions and shows featuring alternative remedies. There are thousands of "sciences" out there -- waiting for the faithful to flock in and get fleeced.

No, Ayurceutical Philosophy specifically and strongly does NOT offer any claims of spiritual change because of its products. That may happen? But, it may happen from drinking Coca-Cola too! There is no workable technology to these "energy flows." There may well be people who have some "gift" that they, themselves, have no real understanding of despite their great claims of understanding and even teaching these "flows" -- and they may "get results." We, in Ayurceutical do not condemn these practices. We only say that WE do not offer any such. If your spiritual advisor tells you that our pills work? Fine, you are welcome to use them. If they produce what you observe as changes beyond those caused in your body -- that, too, is fine, but we would say that YOU caused those changes, not the pill!

The thousands of such so-called sciences are a great testament to the drive by people to find some method of achieving spiritual freedom. It is not to be found in chemicals, massage, herbs or any other material practice.

The core technology of Ayurceuticals revolves around the creation of Bio-matrix using different combination of “Nutrients, Minerals & Herbs” to influence favorably the two vital phenomena for restoring and sustaining health in a living body, to slow down the action of mass cell suicide. ONLY spiritual factors could reverse that calendar.

The Bio-matrix guarantees 4-functions in the process of treatment.

1.    Bio-Availability of Nutrients (to the cells of the body).

2.    Bio-Acceptability of Nutrients (by the cells of the body).

3.    Bio-Interactivity of Nutrients (with the cells of the body).

4.    Bio-Correctivity resulting in Cellular Survival (in the body).

Bio-availability - is identical to providing a totally digested (Enzymetically converted) food to the body for ready absorption by the cells, which otherwise cannot be absorbed by the cells directly in the original form … like raw undigested fruits, vegetables, meat etc.

Bio-acceptability is to ensure non rejection by the body and to avoid adverse allergic reactions.

Bio-interactivity ensures biochemical reactions in the body without the production of toxic by-products that could disturb the body or mind.

Bio-Correctivity ensures that the changes brought about are toward increased survival of the cells and of the whole body.

Finally the Technology of “Ayurceuticals”

Has one purpose, one objective, one aim, one aspiration ---

To Serve Humanity at large by delivering the greatest and most valuable service of helping them to attain “Optimal Functional Ability” called “Health” through ----

"Enhanced Auto-Immunity & Accelerated Auto-Healing".
