Original Form Of The Concept

This is the eMail I sent where I first explained the concept which is now becoming the grand plan. The entire concept was "full-blown" in my mind even if not fully expressed in this message. This is the message that announced the concept.

Dear Gordon, with copies to others,

First a note to Gordon covering the experience we just had where he took control of my physical machine from his machine in Japan and was able to do things on mine just as I would do.  We can have this arrangement among many others too.

That explains how I came to find my computer seemly in use when I came to look at about 8 PM my time, but no motion just then.  The mouse started to move and I knew Gordon was in control. I then took control of the mouse, also, and opened up a text document where we could exchange comments in live discussion.

The exchange by typing into a note was quite satisfactory -- and quicker than eMail apparently.

We can do that again.

I like the idea of sub domains -- have a whole new marketing idea --

Say there is "Smith Health Food Store."  In Columbus, Ohio.

I create (or you or Michael does) http://smith.oralchelation.com

Instead of a SRP (Self Replicating Page) created as, for instance, a new MLM member who now has "his own" web page, we create a template of a structure for a web site for Smith and others like him.  The template has the basic structure, including drop down menus, php includes, restricted section, formmail, and more.

The SRP is within the URL of the host.  These sub domains are on the outside of our main URL.  They have an independent web existence, could attain their own separate search engine rankings.

We put the "variables" for these many web sites into a MySQL record for THAT web site.  PHP includes the data for THAT web site in creating that web site.  We can then create a new web site simply by putting a dozens pieces of variable data into MySQL which will then appear in HIS web site.

MySQL could have not only Smith's name/address/phone, but images of his store, maps, and anything else we are willing to put there.

You install a cookie system so that any prospect who visits HIS web site, and doesn't have an active cookie from any other website in the KarlLoren group, gets a cookie that lasts for 90 days.  If he doesn't "register" his name and address (which would be accessible in ZenCart for him to change or add to) the cookie expires and he could get a new cookie at some other of our sites.  As soon as he is registered, his name is in a group of customers "belonging" to the web site where he picked up the cookie.

(This also allows us to promote our "Associate program" where Smith and others like him recruit their own group of names, get their addresses, send them marketing stuff about their store -- beyond what they might buy from us.)

Some prospects would be registered with our main sites (www.oralchelation.com))  while others would be registered with variations of (http://smith.oralchelation.com) ..

Any customer in the world could be registered for the Smith web site.  If Smith can promote in the UK, he gets his prospects to visit HIS web site.

Once they enter his web site, and get a cookie, they could then visit the main web (www.oralchelation.com) and wander all over any of my webs.  Smith would be a "registered agent" of Vibrant Life, but he would and should also be an independent distributor for dozens of other suppliers.

ZenCart recognizes an incoming person (prospect) by his cookie and if he places an order for shipment by VL, we ship and give a broker's fee to Smith.  If Smith maintains an inventory of our products (he would be an agent, receiving goods on consignment, so has no control over the selling price -- he then delivers the goods and only then does he pay us for the items shipped.

Smith gets a fee that starts with his "agency agreement" perhaps a the difference between the selling price (which we control) and a maximum of 50% of the suggested retail price.

That is, LGP sells for $50 per bottle.  Smith is an agent at 20% agency commission on sales of LGP where the customer gets a discount of 40% or less.

So, John Customer buys from Smith, buys at $150 for four bottles (standard 25% discount) and we give Smith a 20% fee of the difference between $25 per bottle (50% discount) and $27.50 per bottle (what John actually paid.

John paid $37.50 per bottle.  Smith gets a commission of 20% of the amount between $25 per bottle and $37.50 per bottle, or 20% of $12.50 per bottle.

Small commission, but Smith doesn't BUY these bottles.  He receives them on consignment and sends the money to us when a sale is made.

The 20% commission rate for Smith?  That goes up as he takes and passes various electronic educational courses which I author -- and he thus becomes knowledgeable about oral chelation, plaque, cholesterol, etc.  He could go from 20% to as high as 100% of that difference with many many courses and with sales of, say, 120 bottles per month.  Say he has earned the 80% commission rate for his educational courses taken and volume of good sold (on our agency behalf -- no price discounts other than what we allow).

At that bracket, John Customer buys 4 bottles at $37.50 per bottle (standard discount) and Smith gets 80% of the difference between $37.50 and $25.00  or 80% of $12.50.

Thus I achieve an important objective for me -- eliminating competition based on price and encouraging competition based on service and knowledge of product.

Other figures could be analyzed so as to see what more we could give as a profit share, and still keep our own share high enough.

We could have http://smith.oralchelation.com  and http://smith.bulkmsm.com for the guy who sells MSM as well as VL products.

There would be a fee to become a registered agent of VL -- at lest $100.

Then when we ship ONE CASE to him, on consignment, if he doesn't pay we keep the $100 and cancel his agency.  We also cancel his web site -- when and as the web site becomes more important to him he cannot afford to fail to pay us for goods shipped on consignment.

If he increases his agency registration fee, we can ship two cases (for instance) at one time.

This would also all be tied into www.karllorenpremium.com where Smith can engage in a dialogue with Karl Loren, personally, and where selected customers become Premium Members and get to exchange messages personally with Karl.

This would work for foreign locations as well as the US.

We could have hundreds of "agents" all over the world, each with his own web site and each selling from inventory locally, and/or selling from his web site where WE might ship and pay something to Smith -- or even on a web order it could be shipped from his inventory.

Thus we achieve another important objective I have been intending to write about.   The decision on price is central.  The quality of service is local.  The decisions on inventory and shipments is made on the basis of what is the "best" location -- and how much inventory is in what area and available for shipping.

There could be a "http://gordon.oralchelation.com with exclusive agency rights to some geographically easily identified part of Japan, or wherever.  Zip codes or Postal Code areas could be used -- if too big, something smaller.

We could even arrange so that goods are shipped with no cost to the agent (on consignment, so perhaps no customs?) and in some countries all remittances could be sent to a local bank account, local currency, with the name on the account being "VL."  Probably no US tax on a foreign sale where the money stays in that country.

Then we undertake to purchase local goods with our local bank accounts, and enter those goods into international trade, all on consignment bases.  We ship them from the foreign country "ON CONSIGNMENT" to some other country where the eventual payment could be sent back to the source, or, even here, deposited into a local bank, local currency, for purchase of local goods.

This could be a global giant that operates outside the usual system of currency!!

This is enough to get several programmers and webmasters busy -- and expand sales and educational impact world-wide.

Cliff, is this thinking big -- enough?

Michael, we have a glorious future ahead.

Kimberly, keep up with the ideas -- keep hiring and training others so that you can stay in charge of all this as it grows internationally and huge.

I have another quite independent idea of how to use part of this theme to market bulk commodities and other goods than vitamins.

As often usual, it is 1:54 AM, time to go back to bed.

Karl Loren

Dear Karl,
I was just in the middle of modifying some dreamweaver settings and the phone rang. When I finished my phone call, I see that you are now writing an email me. I will stop what I was doing and try again later when I will not be disturbing you.

regards
Gordon
